Job Description
As a Back Office Executive (HR), you will handle essential HR administration tasks that keep the employee lifecycle and HR operations running. You will work closely with HR officers and managers to maintain accurate records, process routine HR transactions, coordinate onboarding schedules, and support compliance and reporting activities. This role is ideal for someone who is process-driven, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment in Ahmedabad.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and physical files
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including document verification
- Manage attendance, leave records and timesheet reconciliation
- Support monthly payroll processing by preparing inputs and verifying data
- Prepare HR reports and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements
- Handle routine employee queries related to HR policies, benefits and procedures
- Assist with recruitment logistics: scheduling interviews and maintaining applicant records
- Organize HR documentation, filing, and record retention activities
Required Skills & Experience
- 1-2 years experience in HR administration, back-office or related role
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, Commerce or equivalent preferred
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with HRIS systems
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and confidentiality
- Basic understanding of payroll processes and local labor law compliance
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a team environment
